Seeing as how I've sort of been pushed out of cast and I doubt I'll ever perform again, I'm giving away some of my costume pieces.

OK, so the revolving door of roommates needs to stop. Preferrably with someone reliable and with a job.

Our recent roommate, Nikki, is moving out with her boyfriend who recently got kicked out of the house he was in. They're moving tomorrow. She told us this today.

So basically how it works is we're screwed. If anyone knows anyone or is anyone who needs a place to live let me know.

I'm already pretty poor. I don't want to be in debt too.

I hit a rabbit on the way home from the movies today. It was trying to cross the on ramp to the ten, just as I was getting on the ten. I couldn't stop because there was someone behind me, so I tried swerving, because there wasn't anyone next to me. But I hit it.

My friend Josh, who was in the car with me, tired to convince me that the big bump I ran over was a little marker letting you know where the edge of the road is. I know better though. It was the litte rabbit.

Not that I update much anymore to begin with, but I'm not going to really update at all any more online anymore. I feel like I've lost touch with people I used to be close with. I don't want Myspace and Livejournal to be my only modes of communication with my friends.

It's depressing.
Not only because it's internet, but it's like, who actually reads and cares? I don't know any more. So I'm just giving up on it. I want to communicate on a more personal level. So I'll do messaging and what not. But no more mass blogs for any one who does or doesn't want to read. I'm only doing one on one from here on out.

Jello Extravaganza is here!

I'm so excited for this. I made Jello at work last night. There is a ridiulous amount!

I was so excited this morning I woke up at 7:20. So I went and cleaned the back yard and splatter proofed the neighbors house.

Then I clean the dishes, counters and living room. Later I'll have to clean Xanders cage, and the dining room.

I've also got two batches of cookies to make.

Then later than later, I have to blow up the pool, with Jim's assistance, fill it with Jello, With lots of assistance, and make Nachos, all by myself!

Then of course after all that, there's the wrestling and drinking and pictures and fun to be had!

So excited.

Now it's nap time though.

My Day Thus Far

I finally broke down and went to Urgent Care.

I woke up this morning and took Eko to the vet to get fixed. On the way there he sneezed a huge ass green booger on me. Not very common. I asked the vet about it when we got there, turns out he's coming down with a cold. Couldn't get fixed this morning .

I guess in a way that's a good thing though, because when I got home my lower back started to hurt. You know right where my kindey may be. I got super scared that I was gonna end up with a diseased kidney. Then I would need surgery, and with the way that donor kidneys are I'd have to spend a large amount of time in the hospitol . And with not having insurace and all it would cost all kind of money. I was just scared. Luckily, It's not that. It's MAy be the beginnings of a kidney infection, but I got medicine and the dr. said to take it easy for a while.

I was able to pay for the UC visit and perscirption with Ekos "chop balls" fund. So it actuall kind of workl out that he could get fixed today.

So anyhow, I've been home. Watching season one of One Tree Hill, thanks Dana. Feeling sorry for myself. I think everyone need that every now and again. A self pity party.

So I have a UTI (Urinary Tract Infection). I kind of figured what it was when it started to hurt a little when I peed at my moms house about an hour an half ago. Since then, I've peed five times, two of those times included just a trace of blood, and it hurts soooooooooooooooooo bad.

I looked on WEBmd and it said to drink lots of water and a little cranberry juice. It also said to lower the PH levels in my urine to drink a glass of water mixed with baking soda. Done and doing..

If it persist for two day (I'll die) it says I should go to a doctor ....Not looking forward to that. Here's to hoping it goes away on it's own. ( Chugs cran. Juice)

It’s a movie I’ve seen over a hundred times. I know every line, from every character, for the entire 98 minutes of running film. I could tell you the back round color to each scene. I could tell you exact details of costuming make-up and prop design. Due to the cult following that surrounds it, the colorful characters and the people that portray them and the absurdity of the film itself, it’s changed my life. It caused me to grow up, keeps me youthful, made me stupid out of my mind, and brought me the wisest experiences I’ve ever encountered. The amazing the thing ,though, is that’s It’s not even a very good movie. In fact I can’t remember the last time I watched it purely for it’s entertainment value. What movie has so completely captured me as to have this affect ? The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

The classic rock opera, made 9 years before I was born, about a sweet transvestite from transsexual Transylvania and his “creation” Rocky Horror. While it starts out innocently enough with a wedding , then a proposal, things get sour when the newly engaged couple wind up stranded outside of a castle on a stormy night. Deciding to seek help, our hero and heroine, Brad and Janet, make their way to the castle. The two are young and naïve in thinking that the castle inhabitants dancing the illusive time warp are simply doing a “folk dance or something” . Not nearly soon enough they are introduced to the master of the house, Dr. Frank-n-Furter, who, throughout the night seduces both Brad and Janet, and turns their chaste world into a “wild and an untamed thing”.

Joining the cult craze was the easy part, letting go, well I just don’t think that’s in the cards for me, At least not in this lifetime. As a kid my parents had me watch it a few times on VH1. had seen the whole thing once on a VHS at a friends house, those times I wasn’t too interested in it. When I was 17 a friend, who is now known as my best friend and soul mate, took me to see it. It was playing in an old dollar theater in central Phoenix, easily a 45 minute drive from my house. Upon my arrival I was a little nervous. Inside the theatre the crowd that gathered were unconventional to say the least. Paten leather, chains and see through garments were of the norm. Mohawks, emo bangs and shades of purple graced their heads. The cast took the stage by introducing the film , yelling at the screen “Start the fucking flick, forget the flick start fucking.” and continuing the obscenities through the previews right into the credits. During the film, there was of course, flying toast and rice, much groping and audience participation. At the end of the film the cast gathered on stage and yelled at us to “Pick up your shit and get the fuck out!”

Some people find the whole experience to be awful, never wanting to relive it. I was very much on the other hand. I loved every minute of it, before long I pushed myself through and made myself a part of the rude and boisterous cast. The cast, the friends, and ultimately, the family. Guys, gals, guys who dressed like gals, gals who kissed other gals, every shape , size and height you could think of. More personalities than Sybil , and from every age group. These are the people that shaped me and made me what I am today. We all have been through so much together that the love we have for one another can not be touched or understood by another living thing. There have been hard times for everyone, the fights ,the hurt feelings ,and the worst feeling in the world, hearing that one of our own had left this world. Even in all the misery , we all still found each other and we all laughed and loved. We help each other and we feel for each other, and deep down we know we have a bond for life. All of us brought together by a silly movie.

The ridiculousness of the whole thing gave us so much freedom to be ourselves on stage. We had fun with the fact that we could run around in our underpants, or under roos if we felt so inclined. Changing costuming a bit, or having a theme night such as “Psycho Beach Party” night just made the night that much more thrilling and exciting. It was what you looked forward to during the week.

The big change for me wasn’t joining cast, or meeting the wonderful people involved, it was the realization that I was Janet. I didn’t just dress and act like her on stage. I was Janet. Just like her, I was a girl seduced by something completely out of my element, had a wonderfully frightening experience and came out of it a self confident, self sufficient young woman. In the three years since I joined “Rocky” I’ve met amazing people, moved out of my parents house, changed jobs, fell in love, fell out of love, seen a child brought into the world, watched a child leave it, learned how to drink and done things I’d never dreamed of, all because I watched a movie.

Sitting eating quite possibly the best nachos EVER. Trying to delay the start of the last essay of my first english class. A reflective essay on a reaction to a movie that might reflect my life as well. At least I think that's what he wants. I'm really not sure. So I'm doing it on Rocky. It'll be easy enough, right?

Other that this, my procrastination activites are as follows. Seeing Nacho Libre. Going to a meeting at work (which was mandatory so I had to be there to begin with) Sweeping and cleaning my garage and driveway. Picking up all the dog poo in the back yard. Watering. RE-filling Eko's pool. Laundry. Taking Eko to the dog park. Checking every blog/journal I have. And now, finally writing this. Let's also not forget the delicious nachos I'm eating. I need nutrition to focus on writing . It's a fact or something I'm sure.

Ok. I guess I really have to go do it now, since it's due in the morning and it's now 11:30

I'm still alive, and doing well for the most part. School is kicking my ass, but other than that I'm doing pretty good for myself.

I got another perm today, but I think I'm going to end up washing it out. 100$ down the porcelin pee hole. It's just to long and unruly. It hurts to put perms into a poly tail and it's too hot to leave it down, so I really think I'm gonna wash it out. I've got like 48 hours to truly decided, because after that the chemicle is so in there, that there's no washing it out.

I've got like four different projects on my plate right now. A huge painting of a tree, more scropbooking, a painting for Deb, and my sisters wedding viel. I sjhould go do some now.
